Community College Consortium for Open Education Resources - Our mission is expanding access to education by promoting awareness and adoption of Open Educational Resources (OER). Over 200 colleges have joined the consortium and many more participate in our activities and use resources posted here.
Check out the monthly webcam discussions about OERs.
We know that finding OER can be overwhelming. If you need help finding something, please contact Gracie McDonough (gracie.mcdonough@csn.edu), an Instruction and Reference Librarian, who has her certificate in OER Librarianship through Open Textbook Network at UMN.
For more information about OER being used at CSN please watch this video made by Gracie McDonough, a librarian at CSN.
Canvas Commons works all have a Creative Commons license and are not Copyrighted works. They can be added to Canvas courses by anyone that would like to use them.
CSN has created a task force to explore campus-wide OER initiatives. If you would like to get involved or just have questions about OER at CSN, please contact Jason Tyndal (jason.tyndal@csn.edu) or Paula Michniewicz (paula.michniewicz@csn.edu).
