This guide was developed in concert with the Black Student Union and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) to promote awareness of mental health resources during the 2025 Black History Month The Power of Us: Mental Health and Motivation Roundtable.
Use this guide to locate print and online resources in support of mental health particularly those affecting individuals from diverse and marginalized communities. Contact a librarian for additional assistance or use the library chat service for immediate assistance.
Note that "CAPS offers free, confidential solution-focused counseling with a licensed clinical therapist as well as various mental health workshops and trainings to help students manage their emotional, relational, and behavioral growth. Any CSN student currently enrolled is eligible for CAPS services. CAPS services are available both in-person and online" (description from the CAPS website).
