Books

Did you know that the CSN Libraries have a copy of your class's textbook?

Contemporary Public Speaking is currently available as a course reserve textbook. This means that students can check out this textbook from the library for a 2-hour time period for in-library use. While students are not able to check out course reserve textbooks for extended periods of time, this can still be a helpful option if you're on campus studying or preparing for your speech and need access to a textbook while you're in the library.

We also have other books relevant to speech writing and public speaking:

For a summary of the book, select the information icon information icon next to the book title.

You can request a hold on a book for easy pick-up at the library, or browse the book stacks for the call number. This How to Read a Call Number guide from UNLV explains the structure of a call number which is how the books at CSN Libraries are organized.
